I completed my undergraduate studies at Cornell University before earning a Master's Degree in exercise science at the University of Delaware and my MD-PhD at SUNY Upstate Medical University. I completed residency in child neurology at the University of Michigan and fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Dr. Jee sees patients in the Strong Pediatric Practice, and also teaches and supervises medical students and residents in the outpatient setting. Her research focuses on meeting the mental health needs for children and their families, teaching trainees to provide integrated and trauma-informed pediatric care for underserved children, many of whom have experienced adverse childhood experiences. Outreach and educational activities are focused on pediatric environmental health topics, including climate change and sustainability.

As a general pediatrician, I am interested in providing high quality medical care for at-risk children and families. I am additionally interested in helping families identify strategies for succeeding in home management of chronic illnesses, such as asthma. Through this work, I hope to identify patient-centered approaches to clinical care and outpatient medication adherence that empower families and decrease preventable morbidity.

Dr. McLaren is the Chairman of the division of Pediatric Dentistry and the Pediatric Dentistry (residency) Program Director at EIOH. He grew up in Greece, NY. After graduating from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, he furthered his training in a two-year general practice residency program at Strong Memorial Hospital and a pediatric dentistry residency program at Eastman Dental. He is a Board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. McLaren treats patients at our faculty practice at Clinton Crossings and at Sawgrass Surgical Center, and he treats medically compromised patients in the operating room at Strong Memorial Hospital. He lives in Greece with his wife and their two young children.

Sema Hart, MD is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Staicu attends on inpatients at Highland Hospital, F.F. Thompson Hospital, and Strong Memorial Hospital, where he treats a variety of pulmonary conditions, including pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and lung malignancy; he also provides critical care to patients in the intensive care units at each of these hospitals. In the outpatient setting, he sees patients at the Physicians Office Building Pulmonary Clinic on the Highland Hospital campus, at the Mary Parkes Center for Asthma, Allergy and Pulmonary Care in Henrietta, and in the new F.F. Thompson Pulmonary Clinic in Canandaigua.

Dr. Stephen Ettinghausen is the Director of Surgical Oncology at Rochester General Hospital and a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. He received a BA from Amherst College and an MD from Weill Cornell Medical College. After two years of residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and one year of residency in anatomic pathology at New York Hospital‑Cornell, he completed residency in General Surgery at New York Hospital‑Cornell. His surgical oncology training included fellowships in the Surgery Branch at the National Cancer Institute (NIH) and at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr Stephen Cook, MD, MPH, is dual trained in pediatric and adult-internal medicine. After completing his residency and a chief resident year in Buffalo NY, he joined the Golisano Children's Hospital at URMC in 2001. He completed an academic pediatric fellowship here, during which time he focused on his research and clinical aspects on nutrition, physical activity, obesity and the metabolic complications that arise. He currently sees patients as part of the general pediatric practice at strong, where he also teaches medical student and residents. He also serves as an attending on the inpatient service at the Golisano Children's Hospital at URMC.
