The Center for Refugee Health, a Rochester Regional Health primary care clinic located at Alexander Street and Monroe Avenue, has served over 5,000 refugee patients since opening in 2014. With a dedicated staff of 15, including physicians, a care manager, a social worker, and patient navigators, the clinic is the only one of its kind in Monroe County. In collaboration with the Office of Community Medicine, it works to address health disparities and improve outcomes for Rochester’s refugee population. Serving refugees from countries such as Bhutan, Burma, Cuba, and Ukraine, the clinic partners with local resettlement agencies to provide initial health screenings and facilitate access to primary care.

We serve a large population of Refugee Program patients in the Rochester NY area. Our physicians and medical staff are fluent in several languages including Spanish, Turkish, Haitian Creole, and French just to name a few. We work closely with the Rochester region's top specialists at Rochester General Hospital to provide our patients with high quality medical care should you need care beyond your office visit with us.
