Celeste Song, MD, MS, was born in Northeastern Louisiana, attended college at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and then medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She then did her residency at the Tufts/Cambridge Health Alliance Family Medicine Residency, where she developed her interests in evidence-based medicine and medical education. After residency, she returned to Rochester, NY, for a Faculty Development Fellowship through the University of Rochester Department of Family Medicine, and a Master's of Science in Health Professions Education through the University’s Warner School of Education. For the past several years he's enjoyed his trips to deliver rural health care, traveling to Haiti every 18 months with an international medical team which coordinates its work through a network of Haitian churches. He also likes to work with his local church, sing music written before 1700, and hang out with his wife, three sons and one daughter.

Jay Dickinson, MD, completed his MD at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1975. He then migrated south to Duke University for Family Practice residency training, followed by fellowships in both primary care research and medical education. Upon arrival in Rochester in 1980, he focused most of his energies on our medical student training program and on his research interests in how physicians deal with uncertainty.
