About

Celeste Song, MD, MS, was born in Northeastern Louisiana, attended college at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and then medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She then did her residency at the Tufts/Cambridge Health Alliance Family Medicine Residency, where she developed her interests in evidence-based medicine and medical education. After residency, she returned to Rochester, NY, for a Faculty Development Fellowship through the University of Rochester Department of Family Medicine, and a Master's of Science in Health Professions Education through the University’s Warner School of Education. She now practices primary care at Highland Family Medicine.

Upon completion of her residency, she returned to Massachusetts, where she was on faculty at the rural training site for the University of Massachusetts. After three years, however, the "Rochester magnet" effect kicked in, and she happily returned.
