Jeffrey Yaeger, MD, MPH

I am part of the team who takes care of hospitalized children; this team includes physicians, nurses, other hospital staff, the patient and their family. I strive to communicate with the patient and family in layman terms so that everyone involved understands what is happening with the patient. We push to "safely do less", remembering that the patient, no matter the disease severity or complexity, is a child and the most important person in the room.

Dr. Solan is a pediatric hospitalist who cares for patients admitted to the hospital with general pediatric conditions. She also does research with interests in improving the way providers communicate with each other and with families and in helping patients transition home after hospital discharge. Dr. Solan also serves as the Associate Division Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

Maha was born in Baghdad, Iraq, but her family moved when she was one year old to Nederland, Texas, where she grew up. She attended Texas A&M University for her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. She received her MD from McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas, with a concentration in Global Health. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Rochester in 2019 and completed a pediatric chief residency from 2019-2020. Her career interests include the care of children with medical complexity, medical education, quality improvement, and wellness.

Dr. Margaret Connor's clinical interests include empowering children and their families to become educated about their health and conditions. She works within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care addressing the importance of social and mental well being as part of the overall health of a child.

Dr. Leonard has been a practicing pediatric hospitalist since 1999. His clinical focus is providing and coordinating comprehensive, family-centered pediatric care in the inpatient setting, particularly to infants and young children

Dr. Paciorkowski is a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist with UR Medicine.

Dr. Nathaniel Bayer is committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to hospitalized children and their families. One of his primary passions is taking care of children with complex medical problems who require extensive coordination and integration across multiple sub-specialties and care systems.

Dr. Diamond's clinical interest is in the care for children with complex chronic illness as well as terminal illness both in the hospital and community settings. She is also interested in outpatient general pediatric medicine as well as resident wellness and education.
